Wayfarer Mitts
Inspired by the beauty of the canyons in the Western US, this pattern features a rocky landscape rising to meet a darkening night sky. The wide figurative panel on the back of each mitt wraps around to meet a narrower striped panel along the palm side of the mitt. This pattern is recommended for knitters who have experience with stranded colorwork, reading from charts, and knitting in the round. The mitts pictured were created with Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light (Amber Trinket, Ember, Alizarin, Aura, Worn Denim, Dirty Panther, and Antler colorways).
