Everyone needs a little out-of- this-world warmth sometimes, right? Enter the perfect pulse warmers to keep that space between jacket and wrist a little toastier.

They use only small bits of fingering weight yarn and size 8/0 beads. Most of the work is in stringing the beads, and afterwards you can make one cuff in an evening, or a pair in a day! Then they can hide in the edge of your sleeves and peek out now and again, spreading whimsy wherever you go.

We Come In Peace includes three charted sizes. There are no specific written instructions for the beadwork pattern chart.

Welcome to my oddments project number three! (See the first one here and the second one here.)

I continue to read comments from people overrun with yarn scraps and wanting something to do with them…so I’m going to continue to put these fun little patterns out! This year, I’m focused on wearables for the wrists, hands, ankles, and feet.

They’re different weights and different colors. Some are a full skein. Some are just leftover tidbits, but you can’t throw them away! Definitely not a sweater’s worth of any one color or yarn, let alone a shawl’s worth or even a full pair of socks or mitts. You can’t imagine what to do with them, but you don’t want to part with them. Well then. Ranging from the whimsical to the more traditional, these patterns will be the friends your yarn oddments so desperately need! 12 patterns to breathe life into your scraps and let them be useful once again.

The patterns for this eBook will be delivered to subscribers within a subscription period beginning on 3 November 2023, and ending 31 October 2024, one per month. All patterns will have charts (if needed) and written instructions, and you will be able to make them out of oddments. These are small projects, not big ones: the perfect size for a cozy evening or two of stitching in front of the fire.
