Well we ain’t sewing, either.

This scarf is inspired by House Greyjoy from Game of Thrones. Love em or hate em, being a house of seafaring pirates makes them visually very dark and interesting. All of those nautical inspirations, krakens, bones, fish, dreary colors of brown, grey, blue, grey, grey, a lot of grey, who could possibly resist? I couldn’t! This scarf is also really versatile. You don’t have to follow my color pattern at all, you can just stash bust until your heart is content :) Wrap it around once, twice, whatever you want, it’s cozy, it’s gorgeous, there’s texture for days, and this is a great way to use mini skeins you’ve got lying around. Each section is different so this is a really fun “sampler” knit that you won’t want to put down.

You shall need!
-At LEAST 6 colors of DK weight yarn, about 100 yards of each except color C, that one you’ll want to have double as you will use it for 2 sections explained in the pattern Or just pick 7 colors! I used a blue, brown, grey, white, golden yellow, and black for this theme.
-I personally am REALLY into Mandala surgery lately, so if you want to get brave with me, you’ll need a cake of Spirit, Chimera, and Unicorn to tear apart and scavenge what you need ;) I wrote in what you’ll need from each cake into the pattern!
-Size US 7 (4.5mm) needles, straight or circular works
-cable needle
-needle for weaving in ends
-scrap yarn for a provisional cast on
