• know how to knit top-down and in-the-round, know how to get gauge, know how to knit stranded colorwork, c/o = cast on both at beginning and mid-row, k = knit, p = purl, st = stitch, pm = place marker, sm = slip marker, kfbf = knit front-back-front of same stitch to create a double increase, b/o = bind off

• 1-2 skeins Fable Handknit Cotton Tencel in #05 Black or Riviera or any other black worsted weight – (incredibly soft with outstanding drape but sheds like crazy)
• 1 skein Sugar ‘n Cream Lily Cotton in #1131 or #102001 Dazzle Blue or any other blue worsted weight
• 1 skein Lion Brand Yarns Kitchen Cotton in #157 Citrus or any other yellow worsted weight
• 1 skein Sugar ‘n Cream Lily Cotton in #16 Dark Pine or any other green worsted weight

• size US #5 (3.75mm, UK #9) double pointed needles (dpns) and circular cable needles (circs), or close size to get gauge
