“You don’t have to be gay to be a supporter—you just have to be a human.” ~Daniel Radcliffe, British actor
I have always loved color. My bedroom was decorated in rainbow from the time I can remember. My college apartment had a huge, stretched canvas frame with a giant rainbow circle in the middle. When I designed the Cahoots Sweater (2017) I loved the color placement of starting with yellow. I had all this leftover yarn and wanted to create a companion piece.
Well, 4 years later, I decided to work up a rainbow striped hat and I love the way it turned out. Last year, I donated all sales of the
Trevor Hat to the Trevor Project, and I will do the same for this design. The hat is designed to be worn with negative ease, and the nature of corrugated ribbing and stockinette is that it will pull in quite a bit. Keep your floats loose.
