I am retiring from knit design due to progressive arthritis. Although I will no longer provide pattern support to my patterns that are now free, my patterns are edited and most have been test knit.

Woolen-spun Arranmore Light is an Irish tweed from The Fibre Company. This yarn provides generous yardage and knits up a great fabric with drape and a rustic feel for my textured and collared poncho! Its luxury Old World hand is perfect for the New World as well! Wear “wearever” you want to go!

Wearever is worked flat from the front hem to the back hem in one piece, working an opening for the head. The neck edge is picked up and a double layer of textured fabric becomes the standup collar. Wearever is designed with a shorter front length and is longer in the back. The length can be customized in the front just before working the neck opening and in the back just before adding the back hem texture. If you are petite and the final overall front to back length is shortened by 5” only 4 skeins are required in the feature yarn!
