LEVEL: beginning/intermediate

NOTE:

Hat is worked from the bottom to top on circular needle and then finished on double pointed needles (or 40”/100 cm circular needles using Magic Loop technique) to shape the top of the hat. Keep floats very loose to ensure hat can still stretch. Colorwork is done in duplicate stitch after the body of the hat is complete.

MATERIALS:

Color A: 1 skein of Alize Lanagold (49% wool, 51%acrylic) in Beige or Gray. Each skein is 262 yds/240m per 100 g or another Medium/Worsted/AranWeight Yarn (weight 4)

Color B: 1 skein of Alize Lanagold in Blue

Size US 8 (5mm) 16”/40cm circular needles

Size US 8 (5mm) to double pointed needles or US 8(5mm) circular needles 40”/100cm length to work inMagic loop method.
