Weathered Wood Cowl
The Weathered Wood Cowl was originally designed for A Verb for Keeping Warm Proverbial Club. It has been updated to include fingering and worsted weight options.
The weathered wood of the family cottage whispers stories of summers past. Built in 1930 for my husband’s great-grandmother, it became a haven for generations to connect and a place where family memories were woven. The exposed timber walls have aged, dried and shrunk over the years leaving cracks between the rooms and us a little exposed to nature -- completely enchanting.
When the “Weathered Wood” yarn arrived from A Verb for Keeping Warm, it sparked a connection in my heart. The charm, comfort and warmth I cherish from summer days at the cottage are knit into this cowl. May this cowl wrap you in the warmth that I feel when nestled in the cottage surrounded by pine trees.
The cowl is a great first Fusion Knitting project! Watch the Reading Your Fusion Knitting & Four Rules of Fusion Knitting tutorials to get started. The only cables to learn are T1B1 & T1F1.
