An architectural ornament and functional tool, a weathervane is used to show the direction of the wind. For me, this wrap is much the same in a figurative sense: I wear it because it is beautiful but also when I want to remind myself of my own strength. This wrap rests gently around the back of the neck and is best worn draped on each side, showcasing the beautiful colors and textures.

Starting with lace and transitioning through stockinette and textured sections, this design contains a blend of challenging and meditative knitting. If selecting yarn from your own stash, I recommend selecting luxurious yarns (one variegated and two solids) since they will be well showcased.

Due to the simplicity of the middle sections of the wrap, the length of this wrap is easily customizable.
