This is a project based on a progressive sequence of patterns for beginner knitters. You’ll put to use all the skills from the original START HERE collection, plus you’ll learn how to knit in the round.

This is a simple pattern of alternating knitting and purling to create a beautifully textured basket weave design. If you need more practice with alternating these two stitches, this is the perfect pattern for you. With the use of stitch markers to separate repeats, you really can’t go wrong.
