Weave, rectangle in the round
Thank you for your interest in my Weave lap throw
Weave is a medium sized easy to follow project and comes in several sizes, with video support for in the round, rectangle shaped!
Setup and the first 9 round are explained on my YouTube channel and the links are in the written patterns. The patterns in the round are suitable for people who already understand the interlocking filet crochet or overlay mosaic crochet technique. The row to row versions are suitable for beginners.
Weave needs approximately 630 m (645 y) of a darker yarn, and 600 m (4400 y) of a contrasting lighter colour for the small version, add 20% for the large version
Size depends on tension, yarn choice, hook size and version. Crocheted with Aran yarn and a 5.5 mm hook it will approximately be 75 by 105 cm (30 by 41 inches) (large version will be approximately 20% more)
For interlocking: 67 rounds, row to row 67 by 87 windows
For overlay mosaic: 67 rounds, row to row 135 stitches by 175 rows
This pattern comes in 2 techniques and 3 versions, in the round andr row to row. The in the round versions for Interlocking and Mosaic are both video supported (first 9 rounds), the row by row versions have links to pre existing tutorials
