WEAVE-STYLE SCARF
✿ ✿ ✿
It’s getting colder outside. The time for warm scarfs is here again.
Here is one for young and old with a nice weave-style pattern. With or without fringe, as wide and long as you like.
I’m showing you exactly what to do to crochet this pattern and what you need to do when you want to crochet different widths or lengths.
Also included are instructions on two different kinds of crocheted fringe. You can leave those out of course, or add „normal“ ones. :)

❤ Crochet skill level: easy
❤ Size: You can make this scarf as wide and as long as you like.
How fast you get along depends on your chosen type of yarn. I used Merino Extrafine 120 from Schachenmayr and a 4 mm hook.
With that I got scarfs with the following measurements: 11.5 x 130 cm (pink & green) and 15 x 150 cm (gray).
❤ The pattern contains lots of reference pictures and step-by-step-instructions.
❤ Crochet pattern in PDF format, available in two languages:
English: US crochet terms, English texts and descriptions
or
German: German crochet terms, German texts and descriptions
Note: The German version is available through Etsy, DaWanda, Makerist & CrazyPatterns.
❤ you should be familiar with:
- crocheting back and forth in rows
- chain
- single crochet (fringe only)
- double crochet
- front post double crochets (instructions included)
- back post double crochets (instructions included)
- slip stitch
- increase (fringe only)
❤ needed materials:
- crochet hook (size depends on your yarn)
- tapestry needle
- scissors
- yarn in the colors of your liking (I used Merino Extrafine 120 from Schachenmayr here)
