This is a pattern for fingering weight ankle socks with a delicate and beautiful eye-of-partridge heel! There are a few intermediate beginner techniques including kitchener stitch and eye-of-partridge heel.
For this pattern you will need about 200 yards or 180 metres of fingering weight yarn, one set of 2.5 mm (US size 1.5) DPN, and a needle to weave in ends.
