The weavers sweater is a textured raglan construction which is knit top-down in the round seamlessly. While the sweater is meant to be slightly oversized, some short rows at the neck and picked-up stitches at the underarm create a well-shaped fitting.

sizes:

(1|2|3|4|5|6)

finished garment measurements:

  • bust circumference: (86|96|106|116|126|136)cm
  • length from the back collar to hem: 50cm (pattern includes instructions for adjusting the total body length).
  • sleeve length from the underarm to the cuff: 40cm (pattern includes instructions for adjusting the sleeve length).

ease and size choosing:

The sweater is designed with approximately 12cm of positive ease at the bust. Therefore, the sizes (1|2|3|4|5|6) should fit actual bust circumferences of about (74|84|94|104|114|124) cm.
If you are between two sizes i would recommend sizing up.

gauge:

20 stitches x 29 rows = 10cm x 10cm worked in flat stockinette stitch on 4mm needles.

yarn:

meterage: 210m per 100g.

amount: (400|430|460|505|545|590)g or (840|900|960|1060|1150|1240)m

type:
It’s essential to select a yarn with good stitch definition that holds its shape well. I would recommend avoiding pure cotton, blown yarns, or alpaca. A woolen-spun yarn would be ideal, or a wool-acrylic blend.
Also, consider using a light and solid color for better texture visibility, as dark or mottled colors may obscure the texture.
