This is the pattern for the wedding gown that Jill Montgomery I knit way back in 2003. So many people have asked for the pattern to made available again that I am happy to publish it here on Ravelry.
Over the years knitters have sent me photos of their finished gown, many of them used th epattern as a starting point and adjusted it to fit their needs. Please share your photos of the completed piece even it was done years ago.
The Dress was actually worn in only one real wedding- my sister Donna’s outdoor wedding a few years ago.
Every once in a while I break it out of storage and display it in all it’s
glourious beauty.
The original yarns are no longer around, but there are now so many other choices that whatever you make it in will be wonderful!
