Gauge: Each square = 2 inches along the side.

Pattern calls for 216-yard balls of yarn: 6 color A, 7 B, and one each C, D, E, F, and G. (These last five may not take an entire ball of yarn, and a sufficient quantity of scraps could be substituted.)
