Ever since I started designing, I dreamed of one day creating and knitting a wedding dress. To me, bridal couture represents the pinnacle of fashion design, making this project both an artistic ambition and a personal challenge. Designing something elegant, knitting it, and—most importantly—translating it into a pattern that others can recreate was no small task.
Whether I succeeded in all aspects, I’ll leave for you to decide. What I can say for sure is that this project demanded countless hours, a fair share of mental knots, and more than a few ‘I give up’ moments. But now, as I look at this dress with pride, I can’t help but think… I almost wish I weren’t married yet!
