Wedgwood Teacup
by Carol Tomany
The Patternfish description: ’Wedgwood’ is one of a series of four Infiknit knitted teacups and saucers. Carol Tomany designed them after being instructed in the art by Debbie New herself, who created the first ones in finer yarns. ‘Wedgwood’ is perhaps the most involved of the quartet, featuring a small ‘foot’, fair isle, and duplicate stitch accents. It is free-standing without starch, and ‘lined’ so that patterning on the outside is not visible on the inside. As dainty and faithful an homage to the original as can be imagined.
