Cozy up in the “snoods” or scoodies favored by Wednesday Addams and Enid: made to the same proportions and with all the snuggly drape your little black heart desires. My instructions include the Enid AND the Wednesday variation, so enjoy your 2-for-the-price-of-1!

My pattern includes size variation and a photo tutorial with directions broken down step-by-step to walk you through accurate stitch placement. Warning: I tend to write pattern instructions conversationally, so if you want a bullet point list of “78dc, turn, ch2, 77 fpdc ..,” go find other instructions.

My example is worked with approximately 100g bulky 10-ply variegated merino blend on an 8mm hook ; I suggest using a hook between 6-9mm for a drapy, open stitch texture. A skein of Panda Crypto or Lion Ferris would be the perfect self-striping yarn for this project if you are chasing a pop of color.
