Believe it or not, this fun Wednesday Vest pattern is for a crochet pattern not a knit pattern!! I LOVE that “knit-look” but I never have the time or patience to learn to knit but I have fallen in love with Tunisian Crochet! If you know how to crochet but have never tried Tunisian Crochet, it is super easy and fun, and I think you will love it!!

Included with the pattern are “helpful hints before you begin”, detailed stitch guide with multiple pictures illustrating the steps in the tunisian stitches used in this pattern as well as detailed photo tutorial illustrating the construction of the vest.

A tunisian crochet hook is suggested for this pattern but a standard hook could suffice if you do not have a tunisian hook.

Wednesday Checkered Vest Pattern!

Includes instructions for 3 sizes:

Adult/ Teen Small = approx. size 2-6
Adult/ Teen Medium = approx. size 8-10
Adult/ Teen Large = approx. size 12-14

Pattern is written in American crochet terminology and is rated Beginner to Intermediate. Stitches used are:

ch = chain
sc = single crochet
sl st = slip stitch
tsl st = tunisian slip stich
tss = tunisian simple stitch
tss2tog = tunisian simple stitch 2 together
tss3tog = Tunisian simple stitch 2 together
