Wee Bobble-licious
For this project, I revisited a sweater I designed for my oldest when she was three. With diamonds, and bobbles, and picots, it was a match for her exuberant personality.
The sweater is boxy with 3/4-length sleeves. The easy shape, helps it fit longer during those fast growing years.
The pattern is worked from the bottom up in the round to the underarms. Then it is worked back-and-forth. After joining the shoulder seams, the arms are picked up and worked back-and-forth, and then in the round.
The stitch patterns are charted out, so a familiarity with charts is important. Two buttons at the shoulder are used for the 12 mos and 2T sizes.
While bobbles are a lot of work for knitters, they are pure joy for crocheters and really make this sweater extra fun.
Please enjoy!
