Wee Cluster Cowl
by Ann Budd
This delicately textured cowl features the Daisy Stitch from A Treasury of Knitting Patterns by Barbara G. Walker, which is formed by working groups of three stitches together every other round. Because it’s easier to purl 3 stitches together than to knit 3 stitches together, the cowl is worked with the “wrong” side facing outward. However, both sides are attractive for a reversible look.
The super soft yarn used here is Super Silky (80% superwash merino, 20% silk) from Emma’s Yarn in the Sweet Magnolia colorway. The cowl shown used less than 85% of a skein, so it’s possible to make the cowl larger by adding 4-stitch or 4-row repeats.
Both row-by-row and charted instructions are provided.
