Shawlette Construction - This is a one skein, crescent-shaped, Scottish-themed garden shawlette. It starts with a unique, stretchy YO (yarnover) Garter Tab Cast On and increases within the various design elements. As we begin our knitting stroll through the garden, we will knit the seed stitch and the five petal Scots Rose. This rose has been used as a Scottish Emblem since the time of ‘Bonnie Prince Charlie’. The shawlette would not be complete without the regal thistles, highlighting the flowers’ beauty and a special place in our adventure. The Wee Garden in the Glen Shawlette is great for in between seasons. The full version of the Garden in the Glen Shawl, that has a beautiful Bluebell border, is listed in my Ravelry Store.

Shawl Dimensions- 13 in (33 cm) x 52 in 132 cm).

Needle Sizes - US 4 (3.5 mm) for main part and US 8 (5.0 mm) for bind off.
