“Wee Hoose” Ulster-Scots dialect for: small house
A cosy cowl is worked in two colour stranded colourwork, using the beautiful “Traditions” Donegal Aran Tweed. The pattern has written instructions, but uses charts for the colourwork. It is knit using a short circular but can be adapted to knit the magic loop method or with dpns.
Finished Measurements: circumference 63.5cm/25 inches height 26.5cm/10.5 inches
Needles: 5 mm (US 8) 60 cm circular needle
Yarn: Folklore Yarns “Traditions” - Donegal Yarns Aran Tweed Main Colour (MC) 80g (140 yards/128 metres) Fossil
Contrast Colour (CC) 30g (53 yards/48 metres) Ecru or Crolly (Navy)

Gauge: 17 sts x 22 rows per 4 inches using 5 mm (US 8) needle in colourwork. Although gauge is not essential it will impact the amount of yarn required.
