A cute and cosy hat featuring the “Wee Hoose” motif from the Cowl and Christmas Stocking of the same name. The hat is worked in two colour stranded colourwork, using the beautiful Folklore Yarns “Traditions” Donegal Aran Tweed. The pattern has four sizes, written instructions and charts for the colourwork. It is knit using a short circular but can be adapted to knit the magic loop method or with dpns. A longer cable or DPNs will be required for the crown decreases.
Size: To fit approx.:
Baby: 14” (35 cm)
Small Child: 16” (41 cm)
Older Child/Teen: 18” (46 cm)
Adult: 20” (51 cm)
Needles:
4.5 mm (US 7) 40 cm circular needle.
5 mm (US 8) 40 cm circular needle & DPN’s or longer cable for crown decreases.
Gauge:
19 sts x 22 rows per 4 inches using 5 mm (US 8) needle in colourwork.
