The bodies of these wee mouse booties are knitted flat as far as the toe. The toe is knitted in the round. One skein of the suggested yarns is enough to knit two pair. Facial features are either knitted in or embroidered on. If you decide to add whiskers, be sure they are added securely to prevent danger to babies or small children. I have knitted the ear linings with very fine pink angora yarn which is quite expensive. The yardage used for the ears is so little that you could just use a skein of embroidery floss if you wanted to.
