This is a simple pinafore or apron designed to fit small knit animals or dolls which are approximately 10 inches tall. More specifically, I created it to fit over the full dresses my bunnies wear which you can find here: Suzymarie Projects I love the way adding a pinafore can change the look of a dress.

This pinafore involves some simple crochet both chain stitch and a simple hem embellishment for which directions are provided. If you cannot do the hem, a simple straight knit hem will work too.

The skirt length can be modified to better fit your softie. The second row of single eyelets can be moved or left out entirely. And though I have not provided any charts, simple colorwork designs can be added in place of the eyelets…or even small pockets!
