When I make my Dress Me Up Teddy Bear using Light Worsted/No,3/DK/8ply weight yarn and a 3.5mm hook, Teddy stands at 8.5 inches tall. Made from the toes to the top of the head in one go! Only the arms need sewing on! Other yarn weights and hooks can of course be used to create smaller or larger bears!

Teddy has the same trunk size as well as leg and arm width as the standard size Weebee doll, so he/she can wear all of the tops, trousers, dresses, sweaters etc from the Weebee doll outfit patterns!

Weebee is named after my youngest niece Phoebe - when she was first born my daughter and Phoebe’s older sister couldn’t say her name properly yet and she has been nicknamed ‘Weebee’ ever since.
