Weed Leaf Amigurumi an #OtHM Original Pattern

For this project you will need:
Worsted weight yarn or crochet thread in a green of your choice
Crochet hooks based on size wanted (listed below)
Darning needle to sew in the tails (or you can just push them inside
Sewing needle
Sewing thread (preferably a similar green)
Polyfil stuffing
Scissors
Magnet & Hot glue gun if you plan on finishing it as such :)

NOTE: Your choice of yarn and thread will change the colour and size of the Leaf. This pattern produces a three dimensional weed leaf in 8 pieces that needs to then be pinned and sewn together. Important For the largest size leaf/hook you will need to invisible decrease rather than skip stitches as indicated.
|Finished measurements & corresponding hook/material requirements below:
Hook Sizes: (1. 10mm) (2. 3.75 mm) (3. 2.5 mm) (4. 2 mm) (5. 1.5 mm)
Extra Large Leaf (Roughly 12” tall) Use 2 strands of Worsted weight yarn (4)
Large leaf (roughly 5” tall) Use a regular Worsted weight yarn (4)
Medium leaf (roughly 4” tall) Use a regular Worsted weight yarn (4)
Small leaf (roughly 3” tall) Use a thinner ply worsted weight or sock weight yarn (3)
Extra Small leaf (roughly 2” tall) Use a thin crochet thread (aka embroidery floss)

Terms:
Ch = chain stitches
SC = single crochet stitches
INC = increase stitch, this will be added to a stitch type (ie HDC INC) to indicate two (HDC) stitches in one stitch space.
SKST = skip a stitch, also explained within the pattern as SKIP 2 STS (skip 2 stitches)
Sts = stitches
SLST = slip stitch (used at the end of each round to finish off - creates a seam)

Special Instructions:
This pattern will be worked in different sections then sewn together. You will work the bottom middle up to the top middle leaf, then the leaves will will be created separately and sewn onto the body of the Amigurumi Leaf. Images of the final Leaf will be shown as reference. Placement of leaves, and stem may vary based on each makers handmade style, I suggest using pins to hold each sewn piece in place while double checking the images before finalizing and stitching into place..
Special instructions within the pattern will be written in red.

PRO TIP:
Sew all pieces on with a sewing needle and thread ONLY once pinned well enough that each piece will not move at all for best results and control.
