Update! (5/18/22)
Kits for the Weekend at Mort’s hat are now available for purchase at Hermit Thrush Fiber Co!

Weekend at Mort’s is a wonderfully squishy hat worked up in a deceivingly simple two-color brioche pattern! This hat came about by accident one night while playing around with different variations of brioche stitch, and I loved the look and texture of this one so much that I decided to make a hat with it!

To fit
baby(toddler, child){youth/adult small, adult large} with 0-2.5” of negative ease.

Finished measurements
Circumference - 13.75”(16”, 18.25”){20.5”, 22.75”} and the height of the finished
Height - 5.5”(6.75”, 8”){9.25”, 10.5”)

Yarn
You’ll need two colors of worsted weight yarn to complete this hat, and it’s a great palate for playing with color! Go high contrast for a bold appearance, or play with similar tones for a more subdued look.

Samples were designed and knitted using Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok Worsted.
