This pattern uses the simple double crochet stitch. The only semi-challenging aspect (and I’m being generous calling it semi-challenging) is to crochet a double crochet into the back loop – which is essentially just a double crochet stitch with a slightly different placement. Trust me, you can do this!

The zig-zag crochet pattern is finished off with a cute little fringe on each edge of the chevron blanket. I’ve made this blanket in a lapghan blanket size but you can make this double crochet ripple afghan pattern whatever size suits you best. I’ve provided you with the crochet stitch multiple below so you can make this blanket in any size.
