All sizes. The featured shawl is knit on 3 mm needles.

Any yarn. The featured shawl is knit with fingering weight
(26 – 28 st per 10 cm)
Recommended Gauge:
Any!

• Note: The lace section is a chart, where you choose how many times you want to repeat the rows you knit. You can fit the lace to a mini like I’ve done - or use a full hank of yarn and add a thinner garter edge to your shawl, it’s all up to you!

Top-down, starting in the neck,
increasing as you knit

Inspiration for this pattern:
There wasn’t really any!
The idea for it came to me the second I decided I wanted to take a weekend off from work…
Instead of doing that, I went ahead with the design.
So naming this pattern was quite easy, as this was what I did my weekend off – designed a simple shawl to fit any yarn and needle.
