This pattern was designed when I wanted to teach a basic cable class at a fiber retreat. I had fallen in love with the yarn and wanted to make something not only to showcase the beauty of it, but that would be able to be finished during the retreat, and be functional. Another great attribute about the wrap is that it only requires one skein of yarn, so if you have some luxury yarn lying around that you want to use up, this is a great project. It also knits up quickly for a last minute gift for a man or a woman.
