Weekender Shawl
This one I made with stash yarn. It would be perfect in a single color, using an ombre, or even a cake yarn. It is a quick project suitable for a weekend of crocheting!
62” x 38”
I started with scrap yarn, and then added partial skeins of red heart soft in turquoise, and Vanna’s choice Baby in pink poodle, Vanna’s choice in berrylicious, eggplant, and I love this yarn in hot orchid.
Approx 900 yd total
US J-10/6.00 mm hook
Tips
I crochet loosely, so you may need to go up a hook size to get my results.
Chain 1 or ch 2 before the turn does not count as a stitch.
To facilitate a straight edge, sometimes we will put a stitch into top of chain two at the end of a row.
Stitch repeats will be from * to
For clarification, stitches for the center point will be (in)
Counts at the end of a row are for one side of the shawl only. I do not give counts for the entire row.
