Weighted Blanket
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
Simplicity at its finest! Crochet yourself a hug! This elegant weighted blanket is made simply by single-crocheting through the front loop. Extra-bulky t-shirt yarn gives this blanket its weight, so you don’t need plastic beads. The open weave keeps it cool and breathable all year round. The stretchy cotton yarn and loose constructions gives you a drapey blanket that melts over your body and offers deep pressure all over, to help relieve stress and anxiety and promote better sleep.
The finished blanket is approximately 3’x4’, and weighs about 6 lbs, which is ideal for a child. Suggestions are included for a larger (adult-sized) blanket.
