Weighted Ripples is a weighted blanket that is crocheted with pony beads in a simple ripple stitch. The beads will also spin on the yarn, so it is a fabulous, cuddley fidget.

It is crocheted with a smaller hook than usual for the yarn weight. This is the easiest way to add a bead into the work. It does give the blanket a denser fabric, but that will also help to add weight to your blanket.

Weighted Ripples is easily customized to make the blanket the size and the weight you desire. The sample blanket above used about 2000 pony beads.
