Weilberg
The Weilberg is a closed down quarry in the middle of the Siebengebirge. The stone at this place was created 30 million years ago through volcanic activities so that the rock face is mainly consisting of Tuff and Basalt stone.
Nowadays the viewing platform opposite the rock face is a popular destination for hikes around the Siebengebirge.
Besides the geological interest nature lovers will find that nature slowly took over the site that was once exploited by man.
Amongst the omnipresent green growing at, next to and even in the rock face you can observe a huge range of birds such as hawks, red kites and even eagle owls.
The texture of the hat was inspired by the structure of the basalt rock while the leaf and vein pattern is inspired by the untamed nature of the Weilberg.
The warming hearts hat comes in two sizes S and (M/L) which are 45cm/17.7inches, (48cm/18.8inches) in circumference (ribbing not stretched) and thus easily stretch to fit 53cm/20.8inches, (60cm/23.6inches) head circumference.
