Welcome Spring is placemat size but can also be made into a throw pillow.

This is a great beginner pattern and can be done in any colors you wish.

You may use your choice of any worsted (#4 weight) or DK/Sport (#3 weight) yarn.

Finished size:
21” x 14”

Color A - White - 168 yards
Color B - Green - 46 yards
Color C - Purple - 107 yards

Stitches Used - US Terms:
Ch - Chain
SC - Single Crochet
BLSC - Back Loop Single Crochet
FLDC - Front Loop Double Crochet 2 Rows Down

Skill Level:
Beginner - As long as you know the basics of crocheting (stitches listed above), you will be able to do this project. Mosaic crochet looks a lot more complex than it really is. This is a great pattern to try if you’ve never done mosaic overlay crochet.

I have had several people that were brand new to mosaic crochet try my patterns and each one was able to follow the instructions and were successful in their projects.
