Materials:
12” metal floral hoop
1.5 mm crochet hook
280 yards pale green size 10 crochet thread
650 yards size 10 crochet thread in assorted floral colors.

The wreath is made by crocheting a sturdy mesh inside the floral hoop and then crocheting a simple green lace frill to act as the wreath base. 24 assorted flowers, in a variety of styles and colors are crocheted separately and sewn in place.

The flowers use between 8 and 20 yards of each color and so they are great for using up leftovers and remnants. Since gauge in different flowers can be slightly inconsistent, you can even use multiple brands of thread without concern.
