My daughter was gifted a Wellie Wishers doll for her seventh birthday. Immediately, we were both thinking about little cute garments I could knit for her.

Size: 14.5” doll.

Yarn: light worsted or DK weight yarn. Samples are in Cascade 220 and WildStar Fibers Nebula DK. Hat: 16g. Dress: 35g. Vest: 40g.

Recommended needle size: hat and dress - US#7 dpns or circular needles with a long cable for magic loop. Vest - US#8. Use the needle size that gives you gauge.

Notions: three stitch markers, one removable marker to mark the RS, a tapestry needle for weaving in tails and two 3/4” buttons for the vest.

Gauge: hat and dress – 24 sts and 32 rows = 4” square in stockinette stitch. Vest – 20 sts and 20 ridges = 4” square in garter stitch.
