The Red Dragon of Cadwaladr was the inspiration for the Welsh Dragon tea cosy knitting pattern.

This lovely tea cosy is all knitted in red, his right paw is raised and he has a long looped forked tail. His wings are stood upright, and he has golden eyes. He really is a handsome dragon.

I designed the dragon to be a Welsh Dragon, but it could be made in other colors to make it look like a fairytale dragon or even an old dragon.

The cosy is made from Stylecraft Special DK and is a fabulous project to make and enjoy. The perfect tea cosy for a tea lovers who love Wales and Dragons.
