Approx. 150 yds. of size 4 cotton yarn of your choice
Size 4 mm crochet hook
Scissors
Sew in magnetic bag clasp (18 mm) or snap closure of your choosing
Sewing needle
Stitch marker (optional)

Abbreviations (standard American terms)
CH- chain
ST- stitch
SK- skip
SLST- slip stitch
SC- single crochet
DC- double crochet

Pattern Notes
I used I Love This Cotton yarn in the color Rosy from Hobby Lobby. I purchased the magnet closures on Amazon.
The turning chain in each row counts as a SC.
The first stitch of each round always goes directly into the same stitch you’ve chained in.
Finished product ends up being about 7 inches in width and 5 inches in length.
If you’d like a wider clutch, you can chain in multiples of three, BUT it will change the counts as you begin to do the top flap and I have only written the pattern for one size. You can use a 4.5 or 5 mm hook instead if you’d like it a little bit larger.
