Wendy the Wacky Witch
Wendy is one of the wackiest witches I’ve ever met. Her favorite holiday is Valentine’s Day, and this Halloween, she’s determined to scare up a date for that special February day. :)
You can use any yarn / needle size for Wendy. I recommend going down at least one needle size smaller than the recommended size for the yarn. This will help ensure that your Wendy won’t have any stuffing leaks.
The example Wendy was knit with worsted weight yarn on US size 6 needles. She is 15 inches tall and is 4 inches wide across her hips. Wendy is knit in nearly one piece, starting at her shoes through to the top of her head. Her arms are knitted seperately and are sewn on later. The skirt for her dress can either be knitted onto the body itself from stitches created and held for that purpose, or you can knit it seperately and sew it on later.
The pattern not only includes Wendy herself, but also includes the pattern for her shawl, hat, and instructions on how to make her curly hair.
The purchase of this pattern entitles you to make as many Wendys for personal use as you’d like. Please do not reproduce and/or give out the pattern, or sell your finished products. Making Wendys for charity or donation is great, especially if they are for children.
