PATTERN AND SIZING NOTES

• Must have knowledge of: filet crochet (skipping stitches and leaving a space), double crochet, seaming, slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet.
• This filet crochet summer top is made in 2 panels from the bottom up and is seamed together at the sides and on top of the shoulder. A few finishing rounds are put on after assembly.
• The pattern of the filet stripes goes like this, where O’s are skipped stitches and chains, and the I is a DC: O I O I O I O III – There are always 3 DC’s in between the filet stripes.
• Each size just includes another “set” of the stripes to add width.
• The CH 3 at the beginning of each row does NOT count as a stitch.
• The pattern will be written in size XS with the remainder of the counts for the other sizes in parentheses ( ) after.
• The stitch count is given in parentheses ( ) at the end of each row.
