If you want to spruce up your wall with a guaranteed conversation starter, look no further. This crocheted werewolf head is a masterwork project which will display your crochet skills for all the world to see. Plus, it just is pretty wicked cool! Perfect decoration for all fantasy lovers!

This project is not for the faint of heart. It contains a lot of pieces and requires a lot of sewing. The head
base itself is made in one piece, including the mouth insides, jaws and the head proper along with a flurry of fur. It’s then detailed and decorated with plenty of smaller pieces to really bring it to life. The finished head is lifesize, measuring about 33cm/13 inches from the back of the head to the tip of the nose.

This is not a beginner project! This pattern assumes you have knowledge of the basic and some more
special stitches (front post), and in some parts it requires you to approximate locations for decreases or
increases. While plenty of pictures are provided, the instructions for sewing the detail pieces and positioning the eyes and ears are also left to your discretion; no exact rows and stitches are provided for positions.

Brief instructions for creating the wooden trophy backplate are also provided!

This pattern is designed for worsted/aran weight yarn. To complete it you’ll also need metal wire, stuffing, safety eyes, and in case you want to create the trophy base too, you’ll need some plywood/wood board.

This 37-page digital PDF contains row-by-row crochet patterns for creating the head base and the details, along with assembly and finishing instructions. Contains over 80 pictures for progress steps.
