A scarf inspired by Wesley from The Princess Bride. The scarf is knit sideways, and is easy to modify to use all of your yarn. A very simple but pretty scarf. As written, the size is 188cm wide, and 39cm at its deepest point.

When I was designing this scarf, I wanted it to tell the tale of Wesley. First you knit the stockinette/garter stitch which is his life as a hardworking and simple farm boy. Next is a little lace section with the holes showing the time he was absent. Next is a cable that twists and turns representing his transformation into The Dread Pirate Roberts. Finally we have a sharp sword lace border – he is now an expert swordsman and rather dashing! Finally, the completed shape of the scarf is his mask.
