West Country Gothic
by Kath Andrews
This was our second MKAL released from Feb-March 2019. Lots of people took part and trusted us even though they had no idea what they were making!
You can now buy the complete pattern safe in the knowledge of what you are letting yourself in for :)
You will need:
- approx 400m of 4ply yarn, preferably solid or semi-solid
- 4mm needles
- a cable needle
Some notes on yarn:
The red sample in Rowan Fine Lace used only 40g of yarn. It was still worked on 4mm needles but didn’t come out slightly smaller.
The blue sample with a dark blue edging was worked in Fyberspates Vivacious 4 ply. Because the skein is 365m there isn’t quite enough in one skein, which is why the last row and cast off were worked in a second colour.
