West Hollow
With summer here, I tend to go hiking more. I love visiting the hollows in a state park not far from my house. There is always a lovely creek to wade through. That’s where the idea for these socks came from. The eyelet represents the bubbles in the water, the drop stitch reminds me of waves, and the lace panel mimics the cute little bugs that fly around. Next comes the yarn—I chose Anzula’s Squishy, in Tiffany, for the color of the bright blue water. Mix all these together and you get the West Hollow Socks!
