Westbrook Cardigan
Use bright or subdued colors, this 2-color linen stitch open front cardigan has a great drape once blocked, and will be your go-to piece for any occasion.
Worked in one piece from the bottom, the normally wrong side of the 2-color linen stitch forms vertical garter-looking stripes. Divide the body at the armholes and work each piece to the shoulders. With no front neck shaping, the work proceeds quickly.
The sleeves are worked in k1, p1 rib and can be left unblocked for a snugger fitting sleeve.
The collar is worked to a length to be folded back, but can easily made for a shorter, single layer.
