My cushion has elements of traditional Fair Isle knitting: stranded colourwork with only two colours in any round, knitted in the round without shaping (a good project for someone exploring Fair Isle for the first time), corrugated rib for the buttonbands, and a three-needle cast-off. The only sewing up required is to join the cushion’s base.”
